There are some affiliate "techniques" we are opposed to, as well as a number of practices that are outright
forbidden by Clickbank themselves. We kindly ask that our affiliates do not engage in them, as it puts your
Clickbank account at risk. There are...
- Don't NOT Spam Your Affiliate Links: This should be obvious, but it needs to be
said anyway. Do not spam your affiliate links, or otherwise use any illegal or unethical means of promotion. If
you do, then, not only will we ask Clickbank to ban you from any further promotion of our product, but they
will, in fact, terminate your account altogether.
- Do NOT Use Negative Advertising: Some affiliates think it’s a good idea to
create ads like "Is Product X a scam?" and then link to the product. We don't: Aside from the fact
that it doesn't actually work very well, we are strongly opposed to affiliates associating our product with
being a scam. If we discover affiliates who are marketing our product in this way, we will request Clickbank
(who also don't like the practice either) to ban them from any further promotion of our product.
- Do Not Offer Bonuses of Cash (or Cash Equivalents) As Bonuses: Offering cash or
cash equivalents (such as gift cards) for customers who purchase The Bad Breath Report™
through your affiliate link is forbidden in Clickbank's Client Contract (which you will have to agree to when
signing up for a Clickbank account), and will result in the closure of your account. You can, however, offer
other types of bonuses, such as additional or related products, to customers who purchase through
your affiliate link.
